The River Ridge Biology Club (formerly the Bloomington Biology Club) has awarded over $14,000 in scholarships since 1986.

In April, 2008, the Biology Club purchased and planted about 50 hybrid willow/poplar trees behind the outfield fence of the High School softball diamond. These trees provide an attractive and useful windbreak and background for the diamond. Thanks to the Bio Club students for their work in this project.

As of 2012, the River Ridge Biology Club name has been changed to the RIVER RIDGE SCIENCE CLUB and the advisor is Mrs. Bailey.
